NEOLAiA - Staff week French Language Immersion

Welcome to our French Center !

Your French course will be offered by the CUEFEE, the university center for training in French language and culture at the University of Tours! Member of the Association of Directors of University Centers for French Studies for Foreigners (ADCUEFE), the CUEFEE guarantees the quality of its teaching, the diversity of its learning resources, the quality of its welcome and university integration, the richness of its cultural environment, and the harmonization and recognition of its certifications and diplomas.

Since 2007, the quality of CUEFEE courses has been guaranteed by the "Label Qualité FLE" awarded by FEI (France Éducation International) and recognized by the French Ministries of Education, Higher Education and Foreign Affairs.

Your French course will be held in two stages :

• 1H30 of written and oral language to :
  • reinforce your language skills by developing written and oral comprehension and expression, mastering grammatical structures and syntax, and enriching vocabulary in context ;
  • discover authentic oral and written documents: newspaper articles, news, TV and radio programs, songs, film extracts or reports... ;
  • improve speaking skills through phonetic activities.
• 1H30 of practical life and culture :
  • participate in educational projects based on French culture (gastronomy, arts, customs...) ;
  • understand the organization of French society ;
  • discover cultural sites.
