Discover the winners of the NEOLAiA Research Collaboration Support Fund, launched with the support of the France 2030 Plan!

The NEOLAiA team and the University of Tours are pleased to present the results of the third call of the NEOLAiA Research Collaboration Support Fund, which aims to finance research mobility between partner institutions. This seed-fund aims to support the preparation of project submissions and the development of networks, support scientific activities, and promote the internationalization of research at the University of Tours.

 

Five projects will be funded for 2026:

  • October 10–31, 2026: Mobility at the University of Jaén as part of the research project “Compensation for Economic Violence within Couples: A Comparative French and Spanish Approach.” The objective is to combine scientific and pedagogical approaches, particularly with Professor María Dolores Casas Planes, in order to bridge fundamental research and comparative law.
    Project leader UT: Fabienne Labelle, Associate Professor (HDR) in Private Law.
     
  • Summer 2026: Integration of a team of Master’s students in Archaeology from the University of Tours for archaeological excavations as part of the project “Detours in the Ancient City of Poseidonia-Paestum (Italy),” in cooperation with the University of Salerno. The project will also include a digital restitution by the students, within the framework of the NEOTeACH program.
    Project leader UT: Airton Pollini, Professor of Greek History, CeTHiS. In collaboration with Fausto Longo, Professor of Classical archeology, University of Salerno, Italy.
     
  • February 16–June 30, 2026: Creation and structuring of a multidisciplinary team within NEOLAiA on the theme “Sexual Violence and Intimate Partner Violence,” in collaboration with Örebro University, Sweden [Mrs Susanne Strand and Mrs Anna-Karin Larsson] and the University of Jaén, Spain [Nieves Moyano]. The aim is to pursue and structure exchanges in order to prepare an application for a response to a European or international call for proposals.
    Co-project leaders UT: Robert Courtois, Professor of Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology, and Chloé Cherrier, PhD candidate in Psychology.
     
  • March 12–13, 2026: International conference “Societies in Transition in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” at the University of Tours, with the participation of Erika Lunell, associate professor in Law at the Örebro University.
    Co-project leaders UT: Christine Guillard, Associate Professor of Public Law and Academic Director of the Master’s in European Legal Studies, and Nicolas Ragot, Lecturer-Researcher in Law.
     
  • March 2026: Workshop “Religious Expression in the Workplace,” at the University of Tours, with the participation of researchers from the University of Salerno (Italy) and the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). The workshop will be followed by the publication of a book aimed at disseminating the research findings to a broader international audience.
    Project leader UT: Lionel Honoré, Professor of Management Sciences. In collaboration with Professor Constantinos Phellas (University of Nicosia). The academic committee includes Dr. Gerardo Villari (University of Salerno) and Dr. Anastasia Drikakis (University of Nicosia).

The next call will be published on May 4, 2026 (deadline: July 1) for projects scheduled from August 2026 onward.
