The Woman Question (TD 12 h) : This seminar will tackle the issue of women in Britain from the ‘long nineteenth century’ to the onset of World War 2 and aim to debunk some of the myths about women and families at the time. It will address their civil and political rights; their education; female bodies; work vs home, notably.
The Industrial Revolution (TD 12h) : This seminar will focus on the many changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution, in social, economic, philisophical, urban terms , throughout the nation, up the end of WW1.
