Combining practical theatrical exercises, improvisational games, background reading and reflection, this course expands students' engagement in the theory and practice of drama in English. Working alongside professional actors and directors from the CDNT, we will prepare a final public performance of a work of Anglophone drama. As we rehearse, special attention will be paid to improving students' English pronounciation, intonation, articulation, expression, and rhythm, as well as to variations in the accents of British, American and other Englishes.
