4–5 November: visit to Örebro University (Sweden) for the development of the Living Lab Hub

On 4 and 5 November, Hélène Legrand was welcomed at Örebro University in Sweden for two intense and enriching days of work devoted to the development and facilitation of the Living Lab Hub.

A programme rich in exchanges

The first day was punctuated by presentations, discussions and exchanges with colleagues from Örebro University. These working sessions helped to strengthen ties between the two institutions, improve mutual understanding and open up prospects for the development of the Living Lab Hub.
A special session was also organised with participants from the Social Impact Lab to invite them to join the Living Lab Hub and identify their research needs and expectations. The day ended with a tour of the campus.

The second day was devoted to preparing and then facilitating a workshop bringing together participants from NEOLAiA's partner universities. They were able to test a match-making method designed to bring out synergies and encourage new collaborations. A first mock-up of the Living Lab Hub website was also presented to gather their feedback for future developments.

These two days helped to consolidate ties between the teams and confirm a shared desire to move forward together to support and promote research within the Alliance.
 

About the Living Lab Hub

The Living Lab Hub is designed as a platform for exchanging best practices and an incubator for projects aimed at strengthening the involvement of regional actors and promoting citizen engagement in research. Developed as part of the NEOLAiA Research component, it is led by the University of Tours, with the support of the University of Örebro.

This visit represents an important step in the development of the Living Lab Hub's activities. Work is continuing: the next steps will be to expand the network of researchers and participants, increase opportunities for regular exchanges, and intensify communication around the project.
